Cara Chait, PT, DPT, LMT
It’s always been a goal to help patients and clients feel their best. With a background in massotherapy and over 15 years experience as a physical therapist, I have spent decades honing my therapy skills.
I started my career as a licensed massage therapist, so from the beginning I have valued the benefit of healing touch. After graduating with my doctorate in Physical Therapy, I discovered pelvic floor therapy, and since then, women’s health has become a passion. The ability to help women recover from pain and dysfunction is so rewarding.
Along the way, I have encountered many patients on the hypermobility spectrum. Now, after years of treating hypermobility, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and other connective tissue disorders, I feel uniquely qualified to address the concerns of these patients.
Techniques utilized include soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, dry needling, cupping, strain-counterstrain, scar tissue mobilization, visceral mobilization, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. In combination with targeted exercises to address mobility and strength, these modalities help transition my patients from pain or dysfunction to recovery.
